PITTSBURGH -- On Tuesday, Allegheny County Chief Executive Dan Onorato announced a new project to conserve energy and eliminate wasteful practices in operations and programs.As part of ‘Allegheny Green,’ a group of experts and stakeholders will be formed to help the county meet its green goals.The initiative will be funded by government grants and private foundations.
The project will be overseen by a manager that Onorato appoints.
