Seneca Valley Student Hit With Air Gun Pellet

HARMONY, Pa. -- The Seneca Valley School District is investigating an incident in which a senior high school student was hit by an air gun pellet Wednesday.Jackson Township police said the student, who was outside of the school at the time, was not injured.The school conducted random metal detector searches of students and searched buses and lockers.
Police said several individuals have been interviewed and will file appropriate charges once they complete their investigation.The school district issued the following statement to parents and students, “Please accept our assurances that we will continue to work with our local law enforcement agency, as our first and foremost concern is the safety of all students.”
