Last Day For Project Bundle-Up Auction

PITTSBURGH -- WTAE-TV Channel 4's 22nd Annual Project Bundle-Up Auction is online.More than 400 items are being auctioned through July 29.Visit projectbundleup.com for details, and sign up here to get free updates whenever we add new items to the list!
Auction participants will have more time to see all of our items, more time to bid and it's easy.The auction will conclude at noon on July 29. Approximately 100 items will be auctioned each week.All auction items may be previewed on projectbundleup.com, and those items highlighted in blue are the items available for auction each week.Auction items will be available on the Ebay auction site for seven days and will be changed out at noon each Tuesday.Among the items donated by local retailers to help raise money for WTAE Channel 4's Project Bundle-Up are famous-name housewares and electronics from Macy's, Fun Day Passes from Idlewild Park and Soak Zone, brand name merchandise from Kmart, karate program gift certificates from PKA Karate Academy and a host of autographed sports collectibles from the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.In its 22-year history, WTAE-TV Channel 4's Project Bundle-Up has raised $9.6 million dollars for The Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania to help provide new, warm winter outerwear for more than 200,000 needy children and senior citizens throughout western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and northern West Virginia.
So, how do you bid on the Project Bundle-Up online auction?It's easy. All you need to do is click on the tab marked "merchandise list" or "proceed to auction."But before you do, here's some valuable information that you need to know.Due to eBay restrictions, our auction items can only be posted on the eBay Web site for seven days, so items highlighted in light blue are the ones currently available for bidding. Auction items will be changed weekly throughout the month of July.Click on the item listing to view a picture and description of the item. Then click on the "bid now" icon and you will be linked to the eBay auction page.Once you are connected to the eBay auction site, check to see if the item is still available. Look for the current bid amount, the deadline for bidding, and read the shipping payment details.If this is the item you want, click "place bid" or "buy it now" to begin the bidding process. You must first register with eBay in order to bid on or buy an item. Remember, when you confirm your purchase or bid, you are entering into a bidding contract to buy the item.eBay will notify you and Project Bundle-Up via email that you are the winner. Payment instructions will be included in the e-mail. Once your payment is verified, the Salvation Army will ship the item to you, or you can arrange to pick it up by appointment only.We accept checks, MasterCard, Visa and Discover as payment for the items.All sales on the Project Bundle-Up auction are final. All items are sold as-is, and cannot be returned to the donor for cash or an exchange.Remember, you'll receive a confirmation email from ebay to let you know that you have won the bidding on an item.
